LG has always stood ahead of its competitors with unique features and technologies. The flexible display of LG G Flex and now this Knock Code feature. Here we are with a video demonstrating the unlock process on like of recently launched LG G pro 2 and LG G2 Mini. It is much more safe and easy than other pattern locks or password locks available in other devices. You just need to tap on the device in a predefined pattern.
It is a very clever method of unlocking your device and keeping it away from your naughty friends who love tampering with your texts or Facebook or calls. No matter how secretly we use the pattern unlock, they guess it with movement of our fingers, and pass codes, they are risky. Many – a – times we also forget it and have to follow a rigorous process to bring things back to normal.
After plenty of rumours and speculations of LG G Pro’s successor, the South Korean company wrapped off features and specs. It comes with a whopping 5.9 inch display screen and Snapdragon 800 SoC. LG G2 Mini, on the other hand was launched in the last month of 2013, with latest OS and quad core processor. This Knock Code is a software based feature and hence will soon be seen on the LG G2 and LG G Flex as well.
The video shows how you can unlock the devices as well as how you can set your own pattern. You need to go to the settings, followed by lock screen. You will have to enter the unlock pattern, if any, and then select Knock Code lock screen mode from the given options. Tap on each quadrant and the device will ask you to confirm it, just follow the instruction and you are done. Go back on the home screen, lock the device, tap anywhere on the screen, and it will be unlocked. You do not have to precise and follow the quadrant, but do not forget the pattern.
